Day 3 & 4 & 5 of the Brighton Diary

Day 3 – June 10th

In the lessons we talked about festivals. It was quite interesting to hear facts about other countries. In the main break Karin, Franzi, Vera and I went to the beach and took a lot of pictures. Afterwards we went to Starbucks, I bought a ‘Chocolate-Cream-Frappochino’. So yummy!!! We met Marc and Konstantin there and walked to the residence where the meeting-point for the afternoon activity ‘Pimp the group’ was. I had no clue what it is but the teamers said it will be colourful. When everyone has arrived we went to the beach where we got white t-shirts and paint tubes. The next second the colour-battle began. It was very funny and I had paint everywhere in my face, hair and shoes. Vera and I went to the residence again to wash the colour off because we didn’t want to attract attention in the bus. After the ride home we showered and had dinner. At 8 pm the ‘karaoke-party’ started. At first in was boring because no one wanted to sing in front of us all but then some girls and boys stood up and sung.

Day 4 – June 11th

This day we had a half-day trip after school to ‘Seven Sisters’. After a one hour bus ride we arrived.  We walked 45 minutes up the hills.  We had a wonderful view of the chalk cliffs. We stayed for about 50 minutes and had fun, took picture, just talked and enjoyed. At 7 pm we were back in Brighton. Vera and I took the bus to Brighton Marina to go to a restaurant. We found an Italian one. It was called 'Bella Napoli' The food was delicious. We ate Pasta. When we came home we were so tired that we fell asleep very fast.

Day 5 – June 12th

In our sparetime after school Katrin, Franzi, Vera and me went to Starbucks and to a supermarket. We returned to the Palmiera Square park and spotted Gioacchino and Samuel, our teamers. We stayed two hours and chatted with them. At 3 pm we took a bus to Primark. At 4 pm was the meeting-point for the activity ‘Shopping’ near Primark. After one hour we were allowed to go home. I took a shower and got ready for the evening activity ‘Quiz-Night’. It was funny but my group didn’t win.

Brighton - Diary

In den Pfingstferien (08.06 - 21.06) habe ich eine Sprachreise nach Brighton mit einer Freundin gemacht. Ich werde den Post auf Englisch schreiben, da die Leute die ich kennengelernt habe kein Deutsch können und ich glaube alle von euch können Englisch. Mein Englisch ist natürlich nicht perfekt, aber ich versuche so wenig Fehler wie möglich zu machen. Ich werde immer einen oder 2 Tage in einem Post schreiben, damit es nicht zu viel wird. Viel Spaß beim Lesen :)

My friend Vera (16) and I (15) decided in November 2013 that we want to spend our June-Holidays in England to do a language course to improve our English and get to know new people. We searched for a organisation to go with and my friend recommended “Sprachcaffe”. We clicked on the website and were totally interested in their offers. There were a lot of cities offered, for example: Eastbourne, Brighton, London, Devon and Weymouth. I knew Brighton before because of YouTube-Videos and I already fell in love with the city. I could persuade Vera to go to Brighton and we booked the “Standard Course” with 4 lessons a day. We were really looking forward to that holiday and set a countdown for it. At the start it were more than 150 days left and suddenly it was only 1 day left. Time flew!

Day 1 - June 8th

I got up at 5 am and I was super excited. The day I was waiting for almost a year finally arrived.  At 7 am Vera and her parents came over to mine and it was time to say “good bye” to my parents. After that we drove to the airport in Munich, Vera and I picked up our tickets and did all the check-in, security-check and stuff. Our flight started at 10.35 am and we landed at 11.40 am in London. The flight was very relaxed but I was a bit tired afterwards. Anna, a teamer from Sprachcaffe, picked us and two other girls from Germany up and a driver drove us from London Heathrow to the West Beach Hotel in Brighton where a taxi drove Vera and me to our host family. I girl opened the door and I guess the was the older daughter. She showed us our room and said that her mum is still in London and will come back in “a few hours”. These “few hours” turned into 5 hours where we sat alone in the room. It was very boring , we had no wifi and I already read the half of my book. Finally our guestmother came home and explained everything to us. She told us about the bus, the address of the school and so on. We had dinner and around 9 pm 2 other girls arrived. One (Sara) from Italy and the other one (Anastasiya) was from Germany too. After talking to them we went to bed. Personally I didn’t like my first day in Brighton because I didn’t like the house we were staying in at first. But in the end of the day it was ok and I was looking forward to the next day.

 Day 2 – June 9th

Our guestfather brought Anastasiya, Vera and me to the bus station and after 5 minutes of waiting or bus came. The ride was longer than we thought and we were already late. There was so much traffic and instead of 8.30 am we arrived at the school at 9 am. The woman at the reception organized us in the highest class. Our teacher was called Ivan and he was very handsome. In the lesson everyone said their name, where they’re from,…. . After the lessons all pupils from all classes met in a park called ‘Palmeira Square’. The teamers (Anna, Gioacchino, Samuel) explained some things and said that we meet at 2 pm at the school for a ‘Orientation-Tour’. Until that we had free time. Vera and I went with Zak, Marta, Nastya and Diana to the supermarket and to the beach. The tour was exhausting and a bit unorganized. After the tour we went home and  relaxed and had dinner. At 8 pm we had to meet at the school again for the ‘Welcome-Party’. Vera and I found out that 2 girls (Franzi, Karin) and 2 boys (Marc, Konstantin) were from the same city as we. The evening was ok but not entertaining. At 9.30 pm we were allowed to go and we almost fell asleep in the bus because we were so tired.

1.  Wie seid ihr zum Bloggen gekommen?
Ich bin durch die Saskia zum bloggen gekommen, die mich auch markiert hat.

2. Habt ihr einen bestimmten Blog, den ihr wirklich empfehlen könnt?

Ich folge einem Englischen Blog, den ich wirklich sehr gerne mag und das ist der von der lieben Niomi Smart @http://www.ladysmart.co.uk

3. Über was bloggst du?

Ich werde über allgemeine Themen schreiben unter anderem Beauty, Fashion, Musik,         Mädchenkram. Ich bin bisher nicht dazu gekommen einen Blogeintrag zu schreiben, weil ich ziemlich Stress in der Schule habe, aber ich werde definitiv bald richtig loslegen.

4. Hast du schon mal über einen Youtube Kanal nachgedacht?

Klar, also ich hab schon oft darüber nachgedacht einen Kanal zu erstellen jedoch hab ich ein bisschen Angst davor. Da ich nicht sehr selbstbewusst und kreativ bin, ist das ein kleines Problem, aber vielleicht traue ich mich bald und starte einen Kanal.

5. Könntest du dir vorstellen, später mit Bloggen Hauptberuflich zu arbeiten?

Ich würde das lieber als Hobby machen, da ich meinen Traumberuf schon gefunden habe.

6. Hast du schon eine konkrete Vorstellung für deine Zukunft?

Von Zeit zu Zeit mache ich schon meine Pläne für die Zukunft und träume auch von ihnen, jedoch hab ich keine konkrete Vorstellung.

7. Wo gehst du am liebsten shoppen? 

Mein Lieblingsladen ist AnnChristine. Dort gibt es so schöne Sachen und jedes mal wenn ich dort bin, könnte ich den halben Laden leer kaufen. Das Problem ist, dass es in meiner Stadt keinen AnnChristine gibt, in meiner Umgebung nur in München und Nürnberg, wo ich mindestens eine Stunde hinfahren muss. Ich shoppe auch richtig gerne auf Otto.de.

8. Was ist im Moment dein Lieblingssong? oder deine Lieblingsband? 

Meine Lieblingssongs gerade sind Ain’t Got Time von M.O. und Sing von Ed Sheeran, die verursachen einen Dauerohrwurm. Meine Lieblingsband ist One Direction, jedoch mag ich andere Bands auch total gerne, wie z.B. Bastille, 5 Seconds Of Summer, HAIM, The Vamps

9. Welche Kamera benutzt du?

Ich benutze die Panasonic DMC-TZ41EG-S Digitalkamera.

10. Wie bist du auf deinen Bloggernamen gekommen?

Mein Spitzname, den mir meine beste Freundin gegeben hat ist 'Sandfisch' und den benutze ich auch in Instagram und Twitter. Auf Instagram gabs den Namen allerdings schon, dann hab ich ihn einfach klein und mit zwei ‚a‘'s geschrieben. So entstand 'saandfisch'.

11. Wie viel Zeit nimmst du dir für deinen Blog?

Da ich noch keinen Eintrag geschrieben habe, weiß ich es nicht. Ich werde mir aber auf jeden Fall viel Zeit nehmen, damit alles perfekt wird.

Vorstellung

Hallo ihr Lieben und Herzlich Willkommen zu meinem ersten Blogeintrag.

In meinen Einträgen werde ich mit alltäglichen Themen auseinandersetzen, aber auch mit Problemthemen.

Damit ihr mich schon ein bisschen kennen lernen könnt stelle mich jetzt einfach mal vor. Ich heiße Sandra, bin 15 Jahre alt und wohne in Bayern. Zu meinen Hobbys gehören Tennis spielen, Tanzen, Gitarre spielen und Singen.

Der nächste Post wird sicher bald kommen. Ich hoffe ich hab euch neugierig gemacht und es würde mich freuen, wenn ihr meine Beiträge lesen würdet.
